Torres Metals was founded in Brownsville in 1988 and has been family-owned and owner-operated ever since. Two generations of metalwork — the same name on the truck, the same family on the phone, the same crew that quotes the job is the one that installs it.
Every railing, gate, fence, and structural piece we deliver is fabricated in our own Brownsville shop and installed by our own crew. We don’t subcontract welding. We don’t subcontract installation. That’s the difference between a shop that sells you metal and a shop that stands behind it.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Torres Metals is fully licensed and insured for fabrication and installation work across Texas. Certificates of insurance are available on request for any project — standard for our work with general contractors and property managers.
How fast can you turn around an estimate?
Most quotes are returned within 48 hours of the site visit. Larger multi-scope projects with custom drawings take longer because we don’t quote on guesswork — every quote is itemized with materials, finish specs, and lead time.
Do you do both fabrication and installation?
Yes — both, in-house, every time. We fabricate in our Brownsville shop and install with our own crew. No subcontracted welders, no subcontracted installers. That’s how we control quality and stand behind every job.
Do you work with general contractors and property managers?
Constantly. GC pricing, multi-scope packages, build-schedule coordination, drawings review, and milestone billing — we work with general contractors, architects, property managers, and HOA boards across the RGV. Send drawings, send specs, we’ll quote.
